Want to help kids learn? In 4-H, you can be an adult leader and help 4-H members learn. You can be an Activity Leader, Organizational Leader, Project Leader, County Leader. All leaders automatically become members of the Fond du Lac County 4-H Leader's Association. Here are the descriptions of each leadership role. Activity Leader ...an individual responsible for training or directing of activities such as drama, fund raising, recreation, community service, and promotion. Members learning through involvement in the activity. Organizational Leader ...provides overall club leadership; coordinates members, parents, and involvement of other leaders. Can be an individual, a team or a group of people. Project Leader ...coordinates and teaches members within a specific project area. County Leader ... serves as a resource to other leaders or members in a specific project or activity area. Leader's Association ...all enrolled leaders become automatic members of this group. Purpose is to provide leadership to and the facilitation of the county 4-H program. Group determines policy, educational program direction and delivery and an annual budget. Association elects officers to give leadership to the Association. Executive Board ...the elected officers, county representatives, and youth which establish policy and direction of the county 4-H program. |
